After a little talk they go to the library and start..

The Daytona wants to stop for a smoke before the reading..

The sub is in love with the pictorial of his cousins..

Here he is looking at the older relatives..

The Daytona is looking at some old family pictures..

Looking at a 1966 uncle…

But here he finds THE ONE..

Too much reading for them so they go out to take a drink…

After a few drinks the decided to go for something strong…

The Sub heads back for some reading leaving the Daytona alone..

The Daytona stays drinking..

But at some point looses one of the pushers to the green fairy just like Vincent Van Gogh..

My Options to get me an Explorer II - WATCH TALK FORUMS - Discount Watches

Ok folks, these were the options I considered before jumping on my next watch - a White Dial Explorer II. My criteria included price, reputation of seller, and of course condition of the watch. The deal is done and the watch will be on my wrist this Friday afternoon when it will be delivered by the brown truck. I just wanted to get your feelings and see how my decision fared with some of you. Pictures will follow!

actually my clasp suffered enough from deskdiving…amazing how an insignificant desk can beat uo the clasp.

I was actually more concerned about pool’s water because of the various chemicals in it…..seal killers…

not just because rolex can. the deepsy is more.

ceramic bezel vs steel bezel
902L vs normal ss
3,900m vs 600m
the outer AR coating of the PO is a negative point also.

so if you see, there is quite a difference, and of course, as you said, the brand name plays a strong paper there.

Things I’ve noticed.

It doesn’t seem to have the Rolex crown on the crystal
It didn’t come with "certified chronometer" papers like my Explorer II did back in 97. It came with two small books in a cardboard sleeve and a card. I got to peel all the stickers off myself! title=001
